I've been asked about creating tanline overlays in the past, but I wasn't sure about whether I wanted to or not - I know the game offers an official tanning system with Island Living, and I didn't know if these would be of any use. Then I was working on a sim in my own game who seemed like the type who would have a tan year-round, and I decided to make these overlays to avoid the bother of having to take my sim outside to tan every couple of days. They'll also be useful for anyone who doesn't own the pack or use the tanning system, and I hope they'll add something to your game!

The overlays come in three tanning intensities, and look good on a range of skintones from lighter to darker. Each overlay features a full-body coverage option (aka, a tan with no visible tanlines) and ten unique tanline designs based on a variety of clothing combinations. I mostly focused on hot weather and swimming options, but there are also a few fuller coverage designs - for example, a t-shirt and jeans - so you can give your sim the kind of tan they might get from outdoor activities.

All eleven designs are available in each of the three intensities, for a total of 33 swatches. There are separate male and female overlays featuring unique tanline designs, accessible to any sims with a matching frame.

The overlays can be found in the Body category, under the Body Scar subcategory. The overlays use the Right Arm scar slot.
